The Flagship Scholarships, which cover tuition and hall fees, a guaranteed berth, and a one-off exchange sponsorship of up to HK$500,000, will be awarded to local JUPAS talents who meet the criteria.

Category C Other Languages subjects

Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) will no longer administer the HKDSE Category C Other Languages subject examinations with effect from 2025. Under the new arrangements from 2025 HKDSE, candidates take the language examinations administered by official cultural organizations recognized by HKEAA. 

In 2026 HKDSE, Urdu Language will be added as an Other Language subject, and a new score conversion system for the results of HKDSE Category C Other Languages subjects of Urdu will be adopted.

City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK) and Columbia University (Columbia) have collaborated for over a decade to recruit talented students via the Joint Bachelor's Degree Program (JBDP), offering students an unparalleled international education experience.

Students will pursue the studies in Asia and North America in two prestigious and top universities, spending two years at CityUHK and two years at Columbia. Upon completion of the four-year programme, graduates will earn two bachelor's degrees—one from CityUHK and one from Columbia.

At the Teachers’ Corner, useful latest information of JUPAS admission is available to facilitate careers teachers to grasp updated admission information in a convenient way for student counselling.

JUPAS applicants who attain excellent overall results in HKDSE but slightly fall short of the programme entrance requirements may still be considered for admission under the flexible admissions arrangement.

No application is required. Eligible applicants will be identified after the modification of programme choices (after release of HKDSE examination results).

On the JUPAS Score Calculator webpage, select a programme to show the programme entrance requirements, admission score calculation method and reference scores.

By entering HKDSE results, the admission score of the selected programme will be calculated.

JUPAS applicants applying to CityUHK must meet the programme specific requirements. Details are available here.

The admission scores are calculated based on the 2026 programme-specific main admission score formula and the HKDSE results of the JUPAS applicants with Main Round offers in 2025 entry. Details are available here.

For 2026 entry, the main admission score calculation of individual programmes is based on "3 core + best 2 elective subjects", "Best 5 subjects (may include specified subjects) or "Best 4 subjects (may include specified subjects)".  Details are available here.

To cater to the advanced learning needs of elite students and to enhance their competitiveness, The CityUHK Tiger Programme offers Joint Bachelor’s Degree Programme with Ivy League and other world-class universities including Columbia University, University of Edinburgh and University of Manchester and a customised curriculum in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English Language and other high quality fundamental courses. Students can also pursue a master's degree at the University or at a world-renowned overseas university through our bachelor’s and master’s combination option.

CityUHK has established partnerships with the following world-renowned universities to offer joint Bachelor's degree programmes.

Students will spend two years at CityUHK and two years at the partner university. On completion of the curriculum requirements, students will earn two bachelor's degrees - one from CityUHK, and the other one from the partner university, normally within four years.
